Culver City, California | 2009

Located in Los Angeles’s downtown garment district, this project required the renovation of a 20,000 sf warehouse structure into a showroom and office space. Screen-like clothing display walls were added to subdivide the massive interior open space into intimate shopping areas. This was a high priority for the client. In contrast to the interior, the exterior façade was designed to take full advantage of the large street frontage and have a dominant presence: The storefront is composed of 13 feet of mirror-framed glass, above which sits a simple white billboard for company signage.
